Alright frosty fans, we finally have some good news to drop on all of you!
It turns out William doesn't have to go through Radioactive Iodine Treatment! His doctors are going to monitor his blood for the cancer protein instead, so now all he has to do is get his pain under control; and unfortunately that's where the bad news comes back in.
The intense sciatic pain doesn't appear to have an end in sight as of this writing and, between us and you, our dear frosty fans, William is losing hope. He has another appointment with his doctor today and intends to finally take off the polite gloves and really hammer home how miserable he is, wish him luck.
We'll see you again tonight over on Patreon for the IronGate Extras Early Access page if you've joined us for just $1 a month or tomorrow when the update goes live on IronGate Extras!

They are badass for holding the monsters for as long as they do!
As expected from Dorian though... Ah well. This will be a good realization for him in a bit. Unless he just says: "Hmph."
Good luck, son!
I know how it can feel at least as someone who had two family members suffering in quick succession :/
Seriously good luck!
Thanks for your kind words of support, we really appreciate them.
As for our heroes, unfortunately Dorian isn't someone who lets little things like humility or a positive outlook get to him.
You'd thing that Chase would bring something a little more powerful with him than a mere handgun. I'm not talking a minigun, but at least something that packs a bigger wallop!
On a side note - as a guy dealing with medium-severe chronic pain (and on the opiates to combat it) I heartily agree that the gloves should come off with William's next appointment. There are a number of non-narcotic methods of pain control (that DON'T involve inhaling). Face it - if you're lying to your Doctor, you're lying to yourself. I'm a firm believer that the more energy your body is using to fight the pain, the less energy it has to heal itself. All the best to all of you!
Luke certainly did come unprepared, hopefully next time the team KS sent somewhere to investigate something strange he'll rectify that!
William did take the polite gloves off and asked about a few things, he's been on a new medication since and has found it lacking. He plans to go back to what he was on before, it provided some relief, even if it wasn't absolute. This may very well be something he needs to weather until it sorts itself out on its own, we're not sure.
Wow, way to be a downer. I mean, yes, you should have a backup plan, but to just ASSUME they're dead... dang...
Yeah, Dorian remains...well Dorian.
