Hello frosty fans, unfortunately William's pain isn't very well controlled and one of medications he was trying out had an ugly laundry list of side effects that were driving him to the brink of insanity. He's weening himself off it now and as of this writing neither of us is sure what the future holds.
There's a good chance we're going to have to go on hiatus again, we hope you all understand and want you to know how very dearly we appreciate the collective support we've received from all of you so far. Every fandom claims to have the best fans so we won't go down that route, instead we'll say something much more from the heart; we love our frosty fans and with each visit you give our site, each view you give our archive; with each comment you leave, like and re-tweet, every penny you pledge; you make us feel very sincerely appreciated and that is a gift so special we can't properly articulate how grateful we are to receive it. When we started this project we had doubts we'd have any fans at all, nevermind anyone willing to spend their hard earned money on our book month after month.
You're all really amazing and while thank you doesn't even come close to evoking the kind of gratitude we feel, it'll have to do so, thank you and, while we're making it weird, we'd miss you if you got Xenomorphed.
Keep staying frosty.
In the background of panel three is a poster for Gideon Land's amazing Next Reverie, it's a contemporary fantasy comic about two half-siblings searching for a new home in a world where elves, trolls and even dragons are as common as computers and cellphones. It's compelling stuff and we very highly recommend it to you!
Alrighty frosty fans, we'll see you again shortly over on Patreon for the IronGate Extras Early Access page if you've joined us for just $1 a month or tomorrow when the update goes live on IronGate Extras!

I'm really bummed to hear about William always dealing with something. But it's awesome that he can still get this work out. Very inspirational! Feel better man, and keep up the great work. Best wishes!
And as for the page, looks great as usual. Action packed, and super detailed. Everybody's doing their part. Poor shop owner though.
This threat seems never ending. Hopefully they tackle it.
William here, sorry to bum you out man, not the intent of sharing what's going on with me at all.
I genuinely appreciate your best wishes and thank you so much for your kind comments on this page, they really hold more weight then I think you realize. I love your work over on Revery and honestly flip through it for inspiration sometimes, love all the little details and expressions you pack in there.
Is the bite mark taking an effect?
I bet it is going to have one pretty soon D:
And yeah, health first so take care of yourself :D
We don't think the bite will have an adverse effect on Embers, other then being painful of course! The bloom on the side of panel one was meant to be the out of frame glow of the shrine Luke had sent Embers and Addy to find in the hopes they could close the tear, giving the team a chance to stop the Fey Master and his minions.
William very deeply appreciates your concern for his well being and thanks you for holding him and his well being in your thoughts.
Another fantastic page. Hey, William, I've finally figured out how to use the net on my phone!!
Ooohhhh... Otherworldly energies and such. I am eager to find out what's going on there...
As are we! Hopefully Embers and Addison can find a way to deal with it so the guys can finally do more then hold all the Fey monsters at bay.
