Heh! I feel like the kid is actually admiring her :D
She is like: "Man, I want to grow up to be as awesome as you. Wow!"

Unintentional or not, I can understand slight scorn in Embers' words.
I mean, about time, right?
If Addison acted like that sooner in the previous battle, it might have looked differently.
Hm.

Maybe the kid is, we'll have to see!

You're probably right, if Addison would have come out of her shell in the previous battle then things likely would have turned out differently, we're glad she held off though, that couple she saved likely wouldn't have survived the encounter otherwise!

Which raises one question and if it is good enough, I would like to ask it for the extras.
Also, feel free to rephrase it if you know what I mean because I sometimes suck at wording questions.

Following your old couple reply:
How prioritized is saving lives in comparison to removing the problem?
What I mean is how IG takes civilian lives in general and the problems themselves.

We have to put the black bar over the curses to keep the book away from a mature audiences label, which keeps it from searches on sites like Patreon. The demon bursting out of a man's chest in loving tribute to Alien is fine, same with showing a man get ripped to shreds by chains and transforming into something like a Cenobite in adoring tribute to Hellraiser. It's the curse words that made IronGate mature, not the gore.

We like to joke saying today's society is totally cool with putting something like Hellraiser or Alien on Nickelodeon as long as the swears are bleeped and the nudity is washed out. In the end the black bar draws more attention to the word then anything else, and we only did that because the random punctuation symbols some people use look silly and we worried they'd take away from the tone we're trying to set with IronGate.

I get it, I just can't help being subversive sometimes.

Much like an occult version of DC's Doom Patrol, the IronGate gang are as much therapy group as fighting team

It's nice to see you say that, Director Marcus and Agent Chase actually understand helping them allows them to help IronGate.

ahh.. I do love this page! I like the way you managed to make Embers look dainty and Addison appalled at what she has just done. ttfn.

Was that an intentional Bad Boys reference or accidental? It's goodness either way.

To be honest, it's the fey creature's fault that the girl might have lost some sanity points...

It was an intentional Bad Boys reference, yes, we both loved that movie as teens!
